FINAL COUNT

CPress. Assn.-

COMMUNISTS HOLDING BALANCE OF POWER NAZIS BIG GAINS

-By Teleerraph— Copyi'Ient').

Rec. April 25, 6.50 p.m. BERLIN, Sunday. The semi-official final count gives the following figures: Government 162, Opposition 196 (including 160 Nazis). The Communists are holding the balance of power with 56. A feature of the election was the swallowing of the Right Party by the Nazis. This is illustrated in the final report of the Opplen distriet in Silesia, which shows that the Nazis increased their vote from 63,000 in 1930 to 912,000 at the expense of the Nationalists. Other Right Parties are almost wiped out.
