H. Cunningham, of Christchurch is staying at the Grand Hotel. Miss Dougherty, of Hamilton, Mrs. C. H. King, of Honolulu, and Miss C. M. Jones, of Auckland, are among those at Brents Bathgate House. Mr. J. C. Duncan, of Auckland, spent the week-end with his parents, Dr. and Mrs. J. D. C. Duncan, of Hinemoa Street. He leaves to-day on his return to the city. Mr. L.
