PASSENGER FOR NEW ZEALAND DISAPPEARS OFF COAST OF AUSTRALIA "LONELY AND DISPIRITED"

Rec. April 21, 7 p.m. SYDNEY, Thursday. Mrs. S. A. Pearson, aged 26 yeaTs, a passenger for New Zealand, disappeared yesterday from the Mongolia between Melbourne and Sydney, where the liner arrived to-day. Mrs.. Pearson was last seen yesterday morning. She had been kept under observation by the Captain's orders, beeause she seemed lonely and dispirited. - The missing woman was edueated at Oxford and was en route to New Zealand to engage in teaching.
