Rec. April 21, 7.40 p.m. SYDNEY, Thursday. Willianj Moxleyy \van|ed jn cpnnsption with thfe ;murder pf Dorothy Denzel and Frank- Wilkinson, was arrested by detectives this afternoon at French's Forest, near Manly. Three detectives and a police driyer arrested Moxley in dense scrub eight miles north of Sydney. French's Fofest is a sparsely settled area composed of cliffs and rocky out-crops with a few lonely poultry farms. It is in the opposite direction from where the search was carried on last week. How the police learned that Moxley was at French's Forest is nqt yet explained, The followed his bi: eycle tracks a mile into the bush and came on him lying in a rocky shelter with the bicycle standing nearby. .. As soon as Moxley saw the police he bounded to his feet with remarkt able alacrity and made off into tbe bush and momentarily disappeared... The detectives were just abont to use their revolvers when the police driver, Gill, saw him pass beneath another rock some distance away. Gill took a flying leap and crashed on top of Moxley with great force, throwing him to the ground.

The detectives arrived and Moxley then submitted quietly to arrest. Moxley told his captors that he was very tired. He had had little food or sleep and the nights were very cold: . The last time he ,saw anybody was a week ago, when he called at Corbett's house at Bankstown and was warned off. Moxley who allegedly admitted his identy, had several days growth beai'd and looked haggard. He told the police that it was all up. when a local resident saw him, pushing his bicycle into the bush and appeared to recognise him. It now appeai-s that the man referred to called and gave information to the police which culminated in the speedy arrival of the patrol with detectives aboard. Moxley's swag contained a quantity of old elothes, some provisions, several pairs of sand shoes, and a few shillings, while his shelter was yesterday's newspaper opened at the spot where the reward of £200 was recommended for his apprehension Moxley was brought to the city and quickly charged. He was hurried from the public gaze to the cells.
