The Rotorua Relief Workers' As| sociation 500 tournament and suppe| on Wednesday evening proved woj successful as a result of the efforts o| Mr. W. J. Alexander as chairnia'J supported hy Messrs. Parris and Cabe, and also assisted hy Mesdaw9 Alexander and Parris. The prizel which were both useful and ornameil tal and were generously given by torua business people, were great® appreciated, and as the visitors ej| pressed their desire for a continuana of the function f ortnightly, and nio® prizes are being donated, it is antna pated that the funds will be subshjj tially increasedt_and the comnutta feel justified in hoping to be able 9 give real help to deserving cases. g an instance of the interest taken B the Association's efforts and the be B ful assistance offered one of M prizes at the next tournament "Wa be an order on a local bootmakei S repairs to hoots or shoes. w
