BRIDGE PARTY

FAREWELL TO MR. AND MRS. C NOBLE 1 A most enjoyable farwell party was given at "The Mansions" last week for Mr. and Mrs C. Noble, who are leaving Rotorua shortly to reside in Whangarei. The hostesses for the evening were'1 Miss J. Wilson, Miss I. Simmers, and f Miss I. Campbell, who received their guests wearing blaclc lace, cream floral georgette, and almond green ninon in floral shades respectively. The guest of honour was in parchment georgette with a floral coatee to tone. The bridge room was attractively ' decorated with boj'wles of autumn ' tinted chrysanthemums and dahlias. Mrs. Noble proved the winner of the bridge eompetitions. The guests present were; — Mr. and Mrs C. Noble, Mr. and Mrs. W. Evans, Mr. and Mrs. L. Clark, Mr. and Mrs. R. Potter, Mrs. Russell Gardner, Miss Huntingdon, Mr. W. G. Harwood, Mr. R. G. Webb, Mr. G. MacDowell, Mr. J. Buchan.
