SPEER-GIESEN.
At the Holy Trinity Church, Tauranga, on March 28, Jean Constance, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. B. Giesen, of Sydney, and late of Rotorua, was married to John Adrian, elder son of thd Rev. W. H. and Mrs. Speer, of Rotorua. In the unavoidable absence of Mr. and Mrs. Giesen, the bride entered the church on the arm of her brother, Mr. Russell Giesen. She wore a simple frock of pale pink broderie an- • glaise and georgette with a crinoline hat to tone ,and carried a pale pink bouquet of carnations, roses and dahlias. The two hridesmaids were M'ss Joan Speer, sister of the bridegroom, and Lascelles Corrigan, cousin of the bride. They wore frocks oi almond green French crepe de chine with felt hats to tone and carried posies of autumn coloured dahlias. The flower girl was Miss Peggy Leary, also a cousin of the bride. Tlie bridegroom was attended by Mr. Gordon McDowell, of Rotorua, and Mr. Clifford Giesen, brother of the bride. Later the bridal party and a few friends were entertained by the bride's aunt, Mrs. D. H. L. Corrigan, of Tauranga, at her home in Second Avenue.
