MR. COATES REPORTS SPIRIT ! OF HARMONY • PREVAILS PRIME MINISTER ABSENT
WELLINGTON, Tuesday. A caucus of the Coalition Party was held this morning. The Prime Minister did not attend. The Hon. J. G. Coates states that the meeting was held to discuss the special emergeney legislation being introdueed in the House to-night to make provision for dealing with any civil disturbance that might occur.
