New Zealand Wheat
New Zealand is cofigpicuous for its high yield of wheat per acre, according to the report of the Imperial Economic Committee on the wheat situation in 1931. With an average yield of 34.6 bnshels per acre for the years 1924 to 1928, New Zealand far surpassed the principal wheat-groff' ing countries outside Europe amt with the exception of Belgium aI1° Denmark, surpassed those on the C011' tinent of Europe.
