MAN SLASHED BY RAZOR DURING TRAIN FIGHT. INGHAM, Saturday. 1 Bleeding from three terrible gashes ' in his face and throat, alleged to have been caused by a razor during a fight on Ingham railway stat'on, Alexander Fleming (46), of Shelby Estate, Ingham, died in hispital this afternoon. Two incisions in his throat were about five inches long, and a third across his cheek was about seven inches long. A man has been arrested and charged with wilful murder. Fleming was employed as a conductor on the tramway which runs from Ingham to Lucinda. It is alleged that an argument developed on the train, during which the word "scab" was heard. Blows were exchanged, and while Fleming was lying on the ground a razor flashed. Fleming. leaves a wife and five children.
