Robertson, reported to the council meeting on Wednesday that he had certain information to hand regarding the proposed tree-planting on council reserves. Mr. Robertson had written to the Conservator of State Forests, Mr Morrison, for information regaidiip the trees available to the council and the method of planting them. The conservator had rscommended certain sp'ecies of eucalyptus trees as tming the most su:table for the council's needs, but could not give any idea of the number he could sparo until all his orders were filled.
