N.S.W. PUBLIC SERVICE GETS SALARIES IN CASH DIFFICULTIES IN COUNTRY

Tl|i various dep-artmer(ts of the public service of New South Wales received their pay to-day in bank notes from the State Treasury in large bags with an escort. Country school teachers, however, are likely to wait until the end of next week before they reeeive their salaries. ** , The money wlrch has been accumulating in the country centres from license fees, land dues and other sources since the Commonwealth blockade began, will he drawn upon. Bank and Treasury officials have been in close conference since Sunday trying to prepare a method of overcoming the present difficulties and of paying the State staffs with the mimmum of trouble and confusiop.
