Rec. April 14, 9.5 p.m. SYDNEY, Thursday. The police hunt for the murderer of Franlc Wilkinson and Miss Denzel Was intensified to-day wbcn Frank Corbett, a resident of Bankstown, another s,uburh, told a detective that the man they wanted had called at ; h(s house. ; Cprbett had given the same man a iqeal a week before and ordered'him off the premises, and while he was escaping in the scrub nearby, Corbptt fired a rifle at him without affect. He recognised the man's face by a photograph appearing in a newspaper and said he intended to shoot him pn sight. Thp Municipal Council at Alexandria has urged that when 'the murderig convicted, there should not be political interference with the Court's verdict.
