Messrs Dalgety tind Company, Lim- ; ited- renort ui on the monthly stocl; - sale held in the Opotiki saleyards 011 Tkuisday last. There was a full yarding of sheep .... and all pens were sold under the .. .hammer under lceen competition, ford.ward condition wethers and lambs especially being keenly sought, and prices were decidedly firmer than at . - the previous sale. They quote: — Cull lambs, 4s ld to 5s; store lambs ... 5s 7d; well grown and forward condition lambs 8s, two-tooth wethers, Iight condition, 7s 8d to 8s; fourand six-tooth wethers, light conditmn, " "9s; fourth and six-tooth wethers, forwhrd condition, 10s 2d to 11s ldi two-tooth ewes, small, 6s; four and •five year ewes, good condition, 9s od; "others, 5s to 6s ld. 4 There was a good yarding of cattle but the demand was poor and prices showed a decline from previous .
