Rec. April 8, 7.10 p.m. SYDNE^, Eriday. The first retaliatory move by the iemier, Mr. J. T. Lang, against the nimonwealth was launched to-day. The officers of the Taxation Depart>nt, on their arrival at the offices is morning, found the doors locked three floors, where the assessments i ,j records were kept ,and the issue all assessments, both Eederal and ite, has been discontinued. During the night the locks had been jnged and the keys are reported be held by the Premier.
