LABOUR'S IRONIC SYMPATHY WITH MEMBER FOR ROTORUA WHO DOES THE TALKING ?
WELLINGTON, Wednesday. Much amusement was caused in the House of Representatives this afternoon when Mr. C. H. Clinkard (Government, Rotorua), gave notice to call for a return showing the number of speeches delivered by members of the House this session, and the toial time occupied and the aggregate time taken up by the various sections of the House as follows: (1) By supporters of the Government; (2) by supporters of the Opposition and (3) by the Iridepeiidents. Labour iriterjection: Ppor old chap (Iaughter).
