FLATTERING RECEPTION OF DOMINION LOAN IN LONDON

WELLINGTON, Wednesday. Gratification with the fact that the New Zfealand Govefnment's loan of £5,000,000 had been underwritten in London was expressed by the PrimeMinister, the Rt- Hon. G. W. Forbes, in an interview with the "Post's" commissioner this afternoon. Mr. Fbrbes said that the favourqble treatment accorded the- loan made one feel proud of the fact that New Zealand's reputation stood very high, despite the difficult times through which the world was passing. The response showed that the policy which New Zealand was pursuing was a sound one and might be taken as a tribute to the Governirierit's handling of the economic problem within the Dominiori.
