Record Diary.
It was reportea receuny txiau Canterbury man had lcept a personal record of the day's happenings for fifty-six years, commencing it in 1876, - when he was about eleven years of age; and it was suggested that his diary constituted a record for New Zealand. A still longer record of tffe kind is the diary kept by a well known resident of Blenheim who commenced his record in July, 1871, at the age of fifteen years, and has maintained; it withont a break. His diary includes a weather report for each day.
