The Rotorua Borough Council set a new early finishing record la--,t .evening, when it concluded its deliberations before 9 p.m. This is the earliest hour at which the Council has risen for the past nine years ar.d was in contrast to the recent protracted sittings which marked the discussion of the various highly controversial questions which have of late been exercising the civic mind.
