GRAND THEATRE

TO-NIGHT A clever story of a master-crook who directs the activities of a gang of bank robbers by giving out clues in nightly radio talks, forms the idea behind William Haines' newest Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer talkie, "Remote Control," at the Grand Theatre. Haines has one of his most interesting roles to date as manager of the broadcasting station who becomes implicated in the robberies but manages to prove his innocence by tracking down the real crooks. Mary Doran has the feminine lead, and the big cast ineludes John Miljan, J. C. Nugent and Polly Moran.
