NOTED SINGER
SIGNOR GUIBQ CACIALLl, OPERATIC BASS, DIES. SYDNEY'; Friday. Signor Guido Cacialli, the ivell known operatic singer, died suddenly this morning at h;s residence, 114 Doncaster Avenue, Kensington. He came to Australia with the first Gonzales grand opera Company, and sang all the leading bass roles in the repertory, which included "Rigoletto," "Ernani," "La Favorita," "Mignon" and "Faust." He stood out in the part of Mephistopheles in the lattei*. Wheri the company disbanded, Signor Cacialli joined the staff of the Conservatorium as a teacher of singing, and acted in this capaeity for the p'dst 12 years. His wife died about four months ago, and he is survived by two sons, Raffaello and Yittorio Cacialli.
