With the platfonn from which Mrs Aimee Macpherson had launched a similar movement covered with imitation grass and surrotinding an enormous tank in readiness for subsequent haptisms, the Albert Hail was the scene of a vigorous revival meeting ih which thousarids of eritiiUSiasts participated. Hymns, shouts of "Hallelujah," and ; "Praise the Lord," announced the opening of the meeting, which was the seventh "Four Square" gospel demonstration conducted hy Principal George Jeffreys. Many came to seek a cure of various ailments. Others, waving hymn books as they sprang from their seats, joyously ansWered Mr Jeffrey's categorical inquiries regarding the diseases from which they were now free. Seventy-four testified that they were now cured of cancer and tumours; eighteen ex-cripples had throWn away their crutches; 132 said they were cured of arthritis, 19 of blindness and 29 of deafness. A series of hymns heralded the healing service in which Principal Jeffreys laid hahds on many members of the cohgregation. Mahy women fainted under the stress of their emotions.
