BRIDGE PARTY
MR. AND MRS. KNIGHT FAREWELLED. Mr. and Mrs. R. Copeland Smith entertained several friends at their residence at Te Ngae last week, at a delightful little farewell party in honour of Mr. and Mrs. C. L. Knight, who are shortly leaving Rotorua. Red, bronze and gold zinnias and scarlet hawthorne berries made very gay and effeetive decorations. Mrs. Copeland Smith received her guests wearing a gown of cyclamen brown souple satin. Mrs. Knigbt wore eau de nil georgette and a charming little bolero coatee. Progressive bridge formed the main amusement of the evening, Mrs. F'. C. Bunyard being the winner of the ladies' prize, while Mr. Knight was the suceessful gentleman player. Miss Gwenneth La Trobe Hill and Mr. E. Roe received consolation prizes. The guests included Mr. and Mrs. C. L. Knight, Mr. and Mrs. E. La Trobe Hill, Mr Sommerville, Mr F C. Bunyard, Mrs. Baigent, Miss G. La Trobe Hill, Mr. Sommercille, Mr. E. Carr.
