— By Telegratih— Copyright).
LONDON, Saturday. The story cabled by Mr A. C. Willis, Agent-General for N.S.W., regarding a plot to throw into the harWr Mr. J. T. Lang, the Premier of New South Wales, at the opening of the harbour bridge, has been given prominence in morning and evening Papers. The "Daily Telegraph's" political correspondent says the members of sll parties are incredulous of Mi'. Willis' story of a secret meeting. He has made eareful enquiries in every ouarter and cannot find the slightest trace of sueh a gathering. Had a plot against Mr. Lang hecome known, the members of Parliament would not have preserved siltnce,. Moreover, the idea can be disnnssed that any body of outside persons could have held a meeting at St. Stephen's. There are several Australians a, 1'i'esent in Parliament, and they rePard. as fantastic the idea that a gathering was summoned to discuss the opening of the bridge.
