MR CYRIL TOWSEY SUFFERING FROM LOSS OSF MEMORY POLICE CONDUCTING SEARCH

AUCKLAND, Saturday. The police and relatives made a eareful search to-day for Mr. Cyril Towsey, the well-known musician, who was reported to be missing yesterdaj?. He was last seen late on Thursday evening near the waterfront. The fact has been established that Mr Towsey was suffering from loss of memory and Mrs Towsey will appreciate receiving information from anyone who may have recognised her husband. It has been reported that Mr Towsey was seen in Victoria Park a'c 10. 30 yesterday morning. Later in the day he was supposed to have been seen near Purewa Cemetery. This afternoon a party of police, assisted by Boy Scouts, left to search thoroughly the Domain and other places, including the breastwork near I ihe Devonport vehicular ferry.
