MR. BRUCE'S ATTITUDE TOWARD SIR ISAAC ISAACS CANBERRA, Saturday. B^hx'nd the Cabinet scenes there is seething indignation ovor the staternent of Mr. Justice Brennan tlxat Mr. Bruce's attitude to the GovernorCeneral unfits him for the post of Australia's Resident Mim'ster in London. Mr. Bx-uce declined to-day to break the silence he has maintained since the puhiication of the judge's origixxal remarks. Mr. Bx'uce is said to disapprovo strongly of the methods under wh'ch the Scullin Government secured the mpointment of Sir Isaac Isaacs as the first Australian-born GovernorGeneral. Bv submitting only one name to the King, Mr. Scullin ieft his Majesty with no alternative but to agreo to the appointnxent of Sir Isaacs. Mr. Bruce did not attend the dinrer given by his Excellency on the night of Parliament's onening. Besides the resigning Ministers, all e.xMinistex's of the Scullin and prevjous Governnxents were invited.
