It is also suggested that a considerable saving could be effected by arranging witK the Admiralty to resume unconditional control of tlie New Zealand Division of the Royal Navy. Another proposal is that the number of members of both Houses of Parliament should be reduced as an econoiny measure. ; Discontinuance of the payment to the Rotorua Borough Council of portion of the bath fees, estimated at £li70 is also reeommended.
