PARIS, Wednesday. The newspapers, referring to the rise in sterling, predict an era of prosperity in Great Britain. Le Matin says: "The British pouni is a great international countec, v/hich became suspect, but has resumed little by little its directive role in commerce, reviving John Bull, who is resuming his serenity."
