Delieate eolours or ehequerad w.hite and gold varieties are among the favourite designs used j with smart afternoon ensembles, as well as with evening dress. Fitted with tortoise shell or ivory frames and handles, they are smart and attractive. The same kind of frame is used for the suede and antelope bags which have been so long popular, and are still recognised as fashion's favourites. I Among other delightful handbag mediums are erepe de ehine — mostly black — petit point and fine tapestry work. Many people enjoy making their own tapestry bags.
