160 PERFORMERS

ROTORUA'S BIG PRODUCTION More than 160 performers have been rehearsing daily under the direction of Mr. W. Lints, for tbe spectaeular extravaganza to be staged a,t the Majestic Theatre, on March 17 and 18. , The programme to be presented is most varied, including as it does more than 32 different attractions, features. and specialties. There are 19 song succfesses all supported by special ballets and choruses. More than 500 different costumes will be worn at the opening per'formance. The lighting effects will be a featnre of the production and Mr. Lints has brought wjth him £1200 worth of scenery, wardrobe and properties The ballets are distinctive and include the originals from "The Smart Jazz," "The Flashing Mirror," and the Demon Ballet in the Palace of Flames. There are also eight screaming sketches and several comedy numbers. The whole will be supported by a special orehestra.
