Later, parts of the motor were found after a startling explosion which terrified the people of Montpellipr. * There was no sign of Gavaille. . M. Cavaille has re-appeared. He explained that he was running from the burning lorry when Jie heard a "terrific explosion, and remembered no more until he found himself on a steamer hound for AJgiers, on which he returned to-day.
