DEVELOPMENTS AWAITED WITH ANXIETY IN ENGLAND FIANNA FAIL AND LABOUR

LONDON, Monday. Events in Dublin during the next few days are awaited anxiously, and may possibly determine the length of the ne.w Dail's life. If both the Fianna Fail and the Labour Party adhere to their declarations, an irresistible force will meet an immovable body. If Mr. Eamonn de Valei'a, the Republican leader, raises the oath issue, it will be like Aaron's Rod; it will swallow all others, as it will involve a challenge to the Empire. It is understood that his lieutenants have councelled him to modify his pla!ns. Owing to the approach of the Eucharistic Congress, Mr. Cosgrave's party will probably play a waiting game.
