- By Telegraph— Copyright.)

Rec. Feb. 27, 1 a.m. LONDON, Friday. Surprise was expressed in the Lobby at the small muster of Labour members against the Tariff Bill, only about 38 Labourites and it is estimated 23 Samuelites, including the Home Secretary, voted against the Government. The "Morning Post" said: "Who would have foreseen a year ago or even six months ago, that we should travel so far so soon. Incredible as it must seem, there has been no effective resistance."
