CONFERENCE OVERSHADOWED BY CRISIS AT SHANGHAI POSTPONMENT EXPECTED

LONDON, Tuesday. The Daily Mail's correspondent at Geneva says Shanghai has so dompletely overshadowed the Disarmament Conference that it is believed that when the general debate terininates on Wednesday a move will be made to postpone the Conference indefinately. The British United" Press' Geneva correspondent says that Japan's disarmament proposals, which are expected to be announced to-day, include the reduction of tonnage of capital ships, the limitation of air forces in a manner reetifying existing infequalities, the prohibition of aerial boinbing of towns, and the provision of assurances against possible danger from countries violating the disarmament treaty.
