Re-erection of Masonic Hotel.

The efforts which have been under way for some time to bring about the re-erection of the Masonic Hotel, Napier on its former site, taking practically the whole of the area enclosed by Hastings, Emerson, Tenqyson Sts, and the Marine Parade, have'now been finalised and tenders, closing at noon on February 24, are now being called. When thje first ,announcement was mad(e regarding the building programme it was 'stated that the cost of the building would be in the vicinity of £50,000, and from this it will therefore be seen that the work in view will be of a very substantial nature.
