FATAL CARELESSNESS
SEVEN PERSONS PERISH IN FIRE CAUSED BY CIGARETTE THROWN AMONG FIREWORKS Rec. Feb. 23, 10 p.m. CALCUTTA, Tuesday. A lighted cigarette, thrown by a boy into a Bangalore fireworks shop, caused an explosion and a fire, which spread to an adjoining shop, where seven persons were trapped and perished in the flames.
