CHESHIRE TART.
Quarter-pound pastry, 4 large apples, 1 pintTustard, 1 teaspoon orange marmalade and tpowdered cinnamon. Line edges of a pie-dish with pastry peel and core apples without breaking them. Place them in the dish, and fill the centres.with marmalade. Pour the eustard over all, sprinkle with cinnamon, and bake very slowly until apples are tender. Serve hot or cold.
