WAIKATO MEETING

HAMILTON, Saturday. The opening day of the Summer meeting of the Waikato Racing Club, which was to have been held at Te Rapa to-day has been postponed to Monday, owing to rain. Rain fell throughout the greater part of the night and increased in mtensity during the late hours of the morning. The committere of the club met at 9.30 and reached the* decision indicated. The club later decided to hold the ■ second day of the meeting on Wednesday.
