PLUNKET SHIELD
POSTPONED TILL TO-DAY DUNEDIN, Saturday. Heavy north-east rain set in overnight, and it is still pouring with no prospect of clearing. This is most unfortunate for the 'Otago Cricket Association, which is in much need of funds and was looking forward to a record crowd at Carisbrook this afternoon. An early decision was made to postpone play till Monday.
