STATEMENT CONTRApiCTED BY MEMBER OF DAIRY BOARD NEW PLYMOUTH, Friday. Mr. James Hines, a member of the Dairy Produce Board, takes strong exception to the report telegraph'ed from Wellington that the Meat, Dairy and Fruit Export Boards, on Thursday met and passed a resolution instrudting the committee to press the Government for an early decision on the exchange question. Mr. Hines states that he and other members of the Dairy Board Ieft Wellington on Wednesday, and that a further meeting could not have been held on Thursday. On Wednesday the board met and reported on the work to the farmers' exchange, committee, but the board ! passed no resolution, though there were some informal discussioxjs.
