Condition of Bowling Greens
At tlie meeting of the Rotorna Bowling Club committee last riight there was discussion upon the condition of the greens at the last tournament. It was pointed out that visiting bowlers had referred to the fact that while the playing surface was good the condition of the ends marred efficiency and this would have to be remedied if strong outside patronage was to he- continued. It was eontended that players who ' came from a long distance expected more perfect conditions.
