METHODIST CONFERENCE
CHRISTCHURCH, Thursday. The annual conference of the Methodist Churches was opened in Christchurch to-day. The retiring president, the Rev. Tatchell, introduced the president-elect, Rev. M. A. Rugby Pratt, who, after the induction eeremony, gave his inaugural address. Other officers elected were: Vicepresident, Rev. J. Voss; president for 1933, Rev. A. J. Seamer; secretary for 1932, Rev. J. H. Haslam.
