BROADCAST PQSSIBLE Rec. Feb. 18, 7.25 p.m.J NEW YORK, Wednesday. An Aguas Calientes message states that the Australian joekey, Elliott, arrivfed to begin the final preparation of Phar Lap for the big handicap. The horse continues daily work in hedvy rain and on a muddy track. Mr. Francis Nelson, presiding steward, expressed the opinion that Phar Lap is the finest looking horse that has ever come to America. The Joekey Club is planning a short wave broadcast of the details of the raee in the hope of reaching Australian listeners.
