STRENGTH OF NAVAL, AIR, AND LAND ARMS GIVEN Rec. Feb. 18, 11.30 p,.m. GENEVA, Thursday. The Soviet notified the League that her land forces totalled 504,303, including 30,354 officers, and air forces of 28,658, with 4,949 officers, naval forces, 29,039 with 2,397 officers and frontier troops total 45,390. The fleet, including the Black Sea fleet, consists of four battleships, three cruisers, 26 destroyers, 20 submarines, two mine-layers, six mine sweepers, eight training and auxiliary vessels, totalling 201,487 tons. The land, sea and air forces possess 750 aeroplanes. The total cost of upkeep of all arms is 120,000,000 roubles.
