Bowling Finals To-day
The Tauranga Bowling Club's annual tournament was contiiiued yesterday in iine weather and reaehed the seventh round. The finals will be played to-day. In section two, Matamata (Stewart) 27jdefeated Te Aroha (Wykes) 20 in the fifth, but lost to Rotorua (Fowkes) 19 to421 in the sixth rourid.. They also sustained another loss in the seventh Found when they were defeated by Tauranga (Lewis). Rotorua (Fowkes) 19 lost to Te Awamutu (Noonan) 21 in the fifth round, but defeated Matamata in the sixth by 21 to 19. Rotorua was beaten by Remuera (Graham), however, in the seventh round by 18 t.o 20. Whakatane (Sloand) 15; waa defeated in the fifth round by Hamilton ( J. Smith) 24, and again ih the sixth round by Te Awamutu (Noonan) hv 10 to 23. This rink had a hye in the seventh round.
