DATE PUDDING.
Half-pound of dates, 3ozs flour, 2ozs breadcrumbs, 2 tablespoons milk, 2 eggs, ilb suet, 2ozs sugar, pinch of salt. Stone and cut up the dates. Grate- the suet finely. Mix dry ingredients. Beat eggs, add milk, and mix all tqgether. Turn into a butter basin, tie a buttered paper over, and keep boiling for two hours.
