DEBT TRANSFER
COMMONWEALTH AND BANKS MELBOURNE, Tuesday. The Commonwealth's debt to the Australian trading banks of £2,950,000 is to be transferred from London to Australia. The trading banks have agreed to cancel their Treasury bills' for that amount in London and to accept similar Treasury bills in Australia, plus the payment of exchange.
