Need for Revaluation.
The need for a revaluation of Naj pier properties at an early date, and | the doing away with certain anoma- ! lies which exist at present was stressI ed at a meeting of the Napier Prop.erty Owners' Association. It was stated that a revaluation was to have taken place, but nothing has yet been done in this direction. The suggestion was made that an active c'ampaign he undertaken to see if some lesser rate could he struck on the devastated area from which no revenue had been derived since the earthquake.
