The 'thieves apparentiy forced the padlo'dk on the oiiter dbor and obtairied access to the office where they f embved the safe Which' Weighed between four and five hundredweight. It contained about £60 eash, £200 in promissory notes and £70 in che4ues, in addition to the firm's boolcs, the loss of which have been more ser1 ious than the loss of the money.
