JOCKEY'S CONFIDENCE IN PHAR LAP'S CHANCES

SAN FRANCISCO, Saturday. W. Elliott, the Australian jockey arrived to-day. He proposes to confer here for two days with Mr. D. J. Davis, owner of Phar Lap, and then to repoin the horse at Aguas Calientes, where he will study the course and re-accustom the horse to the feel of his hands on the reins. Cliiot expressed complete confidence that Phar Lap will win against whatever the American owners send. "I love the beast," he said. "and I know he likes me. He can outrun anythihg else on the turf."
